Michael Betz of Battle Creek, MI owns a 1929 "Cat" Four Drive Tractor Model E 15-30 that was owned by his late Grandfather Ray B. Noel of Lawton, MI. Michael received the tractor after Ray passed away in January 1985.

Ray restored the tractor and had rubber tires with air mounted on the original steel wheels sometime before 1975.  Since then, current owner Michael mounted the original steel wheels with steel lugs and then later he removed the lugs and wrapped the wheels with rubber.  The tractor features a 4-cylinder Waukesha vertical engine.

Michael also owns a 1929 Huber tractor. Michael is a member of the St. Joe Valley Old Engine Association which is located at the southeast corner of M-60 and M-40, near the small town of Jones - about 30 miles southwest of Kalamazoo.  The club holds an annual tractor show the first weekend of August at Jones and celebrates its 45th annual show in 2005.
